Coheed And Cambria

Coheed and Cambria comes with a story. The basis for everything is 'The armory wars', a science fiction series by New Yorker Claudio Sanchez that was transcribed into comics and records by the group Coheed and Cambria. It is named after the two heroes of the series: Coheed (The Beast) and his wife Cambria Kilgannon (The Knowledge). The setting is Heaven’s Fence, a group of 78 planets that are connected by energy beams. Quite spacey. The first album by Coheed and Cambria dates from 2002 and was inspired by the hardcore of At The Drive In and the alternative metal of Faith No More. The group reached the Billboard Top 10 with six of its ten albums. Number 11 is called ‘Vaxis - act III: the father of make believe’ (2025). Fun fact: Coheed and Cambria previously played Werchter in 2010.
