Alessi Rose

A new queen of pop has ascended in London. Alessi Rose presents herself as clever and sharp-tonged new voice, a self-made star with an outsized talent. Her musical motto speaks volumes: “If people don’t want me to write songs about them, they shouldn’t do bad things” Rose felt the lure of the stage from a young age. She took voice lessons and performed in musicals. A family friend gave her some music software and a couple of monitors, and the results soon followed. Rose moved from the British Midlands to the capital, bringing along ‘Rumination as Ritual’ (2024) as a calling card. It’s a shot of adrenaline, pure pop music about global issues such as romance and heartbreak. Themes she handles with great aplomb despite her youth.
