Bad Nerves
The self-dubbed “Current best band on the planet”, Bad Nerves have certainly never lacked self-confidence. The energetic rock band from East London can perhaps best be described as the bastard child of the Ramones and The Strokes. Another good comparison is Supergrass-at-200-per-hour. Bad Nerves is fast and nasty and full of adrenaline. This leads to ragged garage rock with a nose for strong riffs and ditto melodies. Based on the untitled first album from 2020, Bad Nerves scored a tour through the United States with Royal Blood. Back in England they were picked up by The Hives. Album #2 ‘Still nervous’ (2024) is the reassurance that all is going well with the quintet. It’s also earned them some notorious fans such as Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam) and Iggy Pop.
