Remy Bond

Remy Bond's parents deliberately kept her away from too much music at a young age. This made her incredibly picky when it came to her tastes. Her obsessions with David Bowie and Japanese culture led her to discover the Suzuki Omnichord - a quirky electronic instrument from the 1980s that The Thin White Duke himself often used. It’s the perfect toy for someone without much musical experience, like Bond. So she started making non-stop songs that exude the same futuristic nostalgia as Lana Del Rey’s work, and they’re just as polished. There’s a deep fascination with the golden days of Hollywood and the neon lights of Las Vegas. The stories are explorations of the life of a teenager in New York today. In the meantime, Bond is under the wing of the former manager of the late Lou Reed.
