Sawyer Hill’s smoky baritone is making waves on TikTok. The American singer-songwriter is a specialist in alternative rock. He draws his inspiration from nineties icons such as Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Yes, grunge, giving it a twist of his own. Despite his young age, Hill is a veteran. At the age of fifteen, he set off on a never-ending tour with the group Drawing Blanks. Everything that could go wrong, did, becoming a school of hard knocks that moulded him into a charismatic entertainer. In 2024, he rearranged the group formula. From now on, it’s Sawyer Hill and backing, joined by Drummer Leandor Walter and guitarist Blake Doyle. The singles ‘Look at the time’ and ‘High on my lows’ have gone viral and are perfect as locomotives for the debut album ‘Heartbreak hysteria’ (2025).
