Wunderhorse

The first major musical event in Jacob Slater's life was the role of drummer Paul Cook in 'Pistol' (2022), a mini-series about the famous Sex Pistols. He himself prefers singer-songwriters like Elliott Smith and Neil Young. Wunderhorse started out as a bedroom project that Slater launched during corona. After the pandemic it became a quartet with a famous Brit in the ranks: guitarist Harry Fowler is the son of eighties icon Kim Wilde. In no time they went from damp rehearsal cellars to the big stages. Picked up as supporting act by Sam Fender and Fontaines D.C., Wunderhorse has developed into one of the most interesting British rock bands of the moment. "The group of a generation", predicts Rolling Stone. 'Midas' (2024), their second album, is a beautiful account of what it’s like to be young today.
